Edging ever farther off topic but its fun

[ that I can respect. I don't think that there is truly much to be gained by having an independent quebec in an era where the world is coming together not apart plus the inevitable consequence of being surrounded by the largest economic bloc in the world which happens to be anglo. having said howev...

Hi all, Im from Quebec too, but not a separatist. Well actually, i am, but only if its done in concert with the rest of the provinces becoming states to join the Union. That way we dont fuck up everybody, and noone gets left behind. Gladius: We'll see how long you'd last without handouts from right-...

I remember speaking my first lines of english while i was 5 years old playing on a florida beach with another boy my age, but from the usa.

Even though i understood close to nothing of what i heard (or said!) it was fun.

Yeah, coes even though we would remain independant, we'd still be part of the usa block, and in that sense, the way americans do business, it works just as well, they dont need a bureaucratic supra-national entity like in europe to really know who they are with...they can just as well outperform the...

Yeah the global instability we're seeing is because of the emergence of two new power blocks. Simply put the USA will no longer be the only one. Europe will be the first new block, it's main strength will be cash. China will be the second, it's main strength will be manufacturing power. USA will rem...

The promessed land for Israel should have been some paradisiac islands off in the pacific, where they could really have gone on with their lives without clashing with anyone. Giving them their ancestral lands back after 3000 years of having been expulsed, seemed like a good idea, but events show thi...

All i know is that Israel is there to stay, and the arabs better get with the program, if they want to move ahead, instead of backwards, as the UN reports showed (the arab countries were the only ones in the world to actually go backwards in terms of living standards etc.. over the past 50 years.......

Actually many strategists would argue that it's better to have multiple countries aligned together but with independant sovereign presences in the world. That allows a country to take the brunt of the international risk when a coalition needs to do something. Just remember how tony blair speaheaded ...

I guess the best way to proove it, since we dont have the reach to influence how fox or cnn or anyone portrays us in mainstream television, and since we dont have many natural disasters or worthy events taking place to drag the attention on us long enough to change that perception.. ...is to hope fo...

Oh yeah but i tell you, this plan to have a free trade agreement with both the EU and the USA, was to take place with canada remaining firmly sovereign, not joining anyone or letting go of it's currency or anything. The floating currency has allowed us to manage changes in the economic beat with the...
