Foxfire: Dude dont mistake us for the french. Thats kind of insulting. Remember that we speak french the way you speak british: the non-gay way. And if you need a better symbol to remember us by, to help you seperate quebec from France in your mental classification system, just think about this; The...

Even if they didn't:

#11 The United States of America coned the whole world into believing that they put a man of the moon!! That deserves some credit!

Nice that you could bring up those stats! If canada had managed a free trade agreement with both these tradezones, wow, we would have had access to a 23 trillion dollar market!!

The nice part is that it still can happen! Chances are slim but hey :O)

Foxfire:

You forgot about those bomb balloons that the japanese managed to sucessfullly send over the pacific and that exploded in empty fields of western canada and the usa without injuring anyone (not even cattle).

That still constitutes an attack on your soil.

If Europe?s GDP is 10.5 million US, then it Certainly does not eclipse the US which is 11.643 as Trillion 2004. Can you just clarify one thing? Even though i agree with what you say, your number of 10million US for the whole EU doesnt make any sense, as they have many many multinationals worth bill...

I agree with you perfectly on that, the previous thread about joining during a war was just for the hype of it. It would be cool, and probably reassuring to the americans, who would feel that even under trouble, some new allies and friends have come for the party, just like in Lord of the Rings, whe...

That's a bit extreme to say Mole, In fact if anyone attacked the USA, Canada would be quick to respond in any and all ways available. WW2 has shown that all future major conflicts (if any) will be faught in what was tagged as Total War, meaning participating countries deploy the maximum of their pow...

Just to add on to the ongoing discussions, most would find it interesting to know that the previous prime minister, Jean Chretien, worked hard during his time in office to negociate a free trade agreement with the european union while maintaining the nafta deal with the usa. The motion was stalling ...

You bet, back when i was a teen i read it all, the original texts, and having the advantage of being a francophone, it helped! The future is ever-chanching, but if you're talking about the northern alliance that will emerge and send shivers down asia's spine, here's what little i remember from that ...

Roger that!! I still have alot o work to do over here to convince my fellow kebekers, but it would be swell if our provinces simultaneously applied for integration, say in the middle of major world tensions against the usa... some few brave provinces decide to go all the way and show their affinity ...

True true, we will have to ask Steven to see what kinda better plot he could bring up along those lines, should he agree to make the flick :O) Tom Cruise playing a not so evil canadian would probably help get the pill to pass :O) Afterall he's got all the 'mission impossible' stuff on his curriculum...

Again, in the hypotetical context of President Bush (and if you read this Mr. Bush, no i'm not serious) causing the near auto-destruction of the us population, due to miscalculated religiously blurred jugdgements about national security: The only hope for operation "Infinite Canada" to succeed would...

USC - The United States of Canada If Bush freaked out and went on a nuclear war frenzy Canada would be left with no choice but to send it's elite shock troopers in a blitz attack, seizing washington and imposing a Dominion over the states. Canada "has had enough" "You are either with Canada or again...

Indeed one of the symbols of canadian nationalism is the Confederation Bridge linking New-Brunswick to Prince Edouards Island. It's one of the longest bridges in the world. If Quebec had it's way, Canada would become a confederation not only in name but in reality. Ottawa's centralization efforts be...
