Career advice

Looking for a way to jumpstart my career. I am attempting to break into the water treatment field, I would prefer wastewater treatment. I got a technologist cert in water chemistry, deck seems to be stacked against me. This industry appears to practice various forms of discrimination, the big one seems to be age discrimination in Atlantic Canada. Tried a bit with Schlumberger, I don't think they are interested in Cdn operations or recruiting Cdns. Haliburton is a plus in that is is not a French company but US. Haliburton just has too much competition & also not really geared towards hiring foreigners unless it is shit house luck.

Does anyone know of any reputable Technologist head hunters with a global focus. Seems a lot of these companies in the oil & gas field are quite exclusive.

Any advice would be great. Thanks.
