Robin Williams, R.I.P.

A god of comedy (who, ironically, got his Oscar for doing a dramatic role) apparently killed himself today. Which, in itself, is ironic because he was "killing" me for years:

The man wasn't Gandhi but he meant a lot to a lot of people.

Show some sensitivity.

A prosperous cocain addict and alcoolic commits suicides, and all the humanists in the world are full blown emo. Innocent children get their heads chopped off and put on spikes, and not a single humanist bats an eyelash.

So yeah, I think I'll pass when it comes to the humanist notion of sensitivity, thanks.

Aside from the people who knew him personally (and i don't mean those who knew him in a cursory fashion), the whole thing just shows the ridiculous extent of the delusion that affects humanists everywhere.

Your mom is a cranky old man.

But I get why he's a role-model both in the way he lived and died for secular humanists everywhere, as he embodies something they can relate to in a personal and profound way: a life path of progressive and eventually literal self-destruction resulting from a general malaise concerning the perceived lack of purpose of life from their materialist conception of reality. Humanist glorification and adulation similar to this is afforded other humanist artists who self-destructed in similar ways, such as Maryline Monroe, Jim Morisson, Kurt Cobain, etc.

He was a good actor. He made people laugh. You're just a dick. You think you're deep and you think you're morally superior. But you're just a cynical cranky dickface. I should mention "snob" as well.

@'Alex:
First of all, I totally don't buy into this dichotomy that you think exist between humanists and...well...anti-humanists; if you're a human then you're a humanist--like or lump it. For me to believe otherwise would for me to believe that you're some kind of soulless, satanic creature in human form. I try not to believe that but, man, you are making it difficult.

Secondly, you're doing that "Karnak" thing again. How the fuck do you know no-one is batting an eyelash over the little kids who are getting their heads spiked in Iraq? Did you take a poll? Or did you--once again--ASSume?

Robin Williams was one of those people that not pointed out the beauty in the world but actually contributed to it. Such people enabled others to face life's horrors and, generally, get through their day.

If you can't understand this then you have my deepest, deepest sympathy.

That is a revolting piece of irrational non-sense. Just to make it clear: only a humanist drinks that trash and believes others do to: I don't, and anybody who has any semblance of sanity in terms of rational thinking understands that humanism isn't about mankind, it's about humanist values, namely: evolutionism, atheism, materialism, naturalism, and when it comes to the radical forms of humanism: anti-theism.

Bayowolf wrote:For me to believe otherwise would for me to believe that you're some kind of soulless, satanic creature in human form. I try not to believe that but, man, you are making it difficult.

Your conception is evil is retarded, but that comes as no surprise to me.

Simple, percentage of Facebook humanist contacts who spout about Robin William's suicide like their own children just died = 90%. Percentage of Facebook humanist contacts who talk about children getting beheaded and spiked = 0%. Where does that Karnak idiom come from? I only know from the name of the Ancient Egyptian temple of the same name, and I don't use it disparagingly in the way you espouse.

Bayowolf wrote:Robin Williams was one of those people that not pointed out the beauty in the world but actually contributed to it. Such people enabled others to face life's horrors and, generally, get through their day.

I'm not contesting the contributions he brought to people, I'm simply dissing all the coy and vacccuous self-drama that humanists are floating by the garbage load on social media. It shows where their priorities are: in superficial things disconnected from the real horrors which are actually happening all around them, on their watch.

I'm not ravaged. I didn't particularly find him funny lol

I just get a kick at how base and obviously jealous the cynics are (even though they think they are smarter than everyone else)

As a monarchist you must have been very conflicted to see all the public love for the new born monarch last year. Do you participate in the stupid mass love delusion? Or do you participate in the cynical mass hate fest? Every time the public shows some love en masse there are the cynics among us to tell them they are wrong to feel. Its so predictable and laughable and pathetic.

When did that change? Or was I not specific enough? You're a constitutional monarchist!

That wasn't my point though. Monarchist or not... Were you overjoyed by the birth of the baby monarch? Or so annoyed and emo at the overjoy that you just had to hate on everything and everyone?

I'm only hating the hater.

I don't hate. And I'm not a constitutional monarchist either! lol You are too simple-minded to care about reality hence you delude yourself in your own prejudiced narrative like the good Islamo-Humanist hate mongrel that you are. Listen to yourself, trolling off-topic shamelessly just so you can throw in some hate filled punches out of the blue even though it's a hatred based on completely illusory understandings concerning your obsessive fixation on my person.

Just because you find humanist people to be superficial, dumb and delusional doesn't mean that you hate them, idiot! Your maniacal obsession with my person is certainly disturbing, I hope you won't go "all the way" and turn your online harassment into something more gruesome when it comes to your hatred for me!

I don't subscribe to the retarded socialist egalitarian notions which you espouse according to which everything has the same value , sorry.

Your mom is emo.

Only you, because you're the only one I know creates stalker accounts to keep showing up even though you got banned multiple times, and keep showing up even though it breaks your only word according to which you had agreed to leaving of your own accord permanently, but instead keep coming back to trash and troll every thread by spamming braindead name calling and ad hominem preventing any civilized discussion wherever your broken mind imposes itself against all ethics and norms.
