This map shows something surprising, our GDPPC sets us apart from everybody else in a perceptible way. And the few European nations that share our segment could easily fit as states, we can all agree I think:

That map by itself demonstrates how unique from the rest of the world the U.S. and Canada really are and why we should be one, I would show it to any opponent of annexation to make clear just how untenable their opinion is.

Not sure about Canada, but I think one the reasons America is so much higher is we tend to work longer hours than Europeans, including taking less vacations.
